4 – Industry-focused courses. Our courses are designed and developed in close collaboration with industry. Some of our partners in industry include Airbus UK, media and newspaper group NWN Media, Daimler Chrysler, Rolls Royce, North Wales Police, San Ei-Gen and Nightingale House Hospice.
 
5 – New Facilities. Over the last few years there has been a significant investment in new facilities at the University including the creation of a new rural campus for our land-based, animal and equine courses, a new Creative Industries Centre which brings together a new generation of multi-skilled graduates in art, design, media, engineering and computing and a ground-breaking approach to child development through the new Centre for the Child, Family and Society.
 
6 - World-leading research. The research being undertaken at Glyndwr University has been classed as of high international standard in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008). This assessment recognised in particular our research in Computer Science and Informatics and Metallurgy and Materials as world-leading.
