A Cambridge-based university has launched a new scheme which could help boost graduate recruitment.
Anglia Ruskin University is offering Graduate Employment Sessions to graduates from any UK university who currently live in the east of England.
The free two-hour course is delivered by members of the institute's employability service who offer advice on CVs, applications, job searching, networking and interview techniques.
Rebecca Howlett, a Psychology graduate from the University of Northampton, was full of praise for the scheme which helped her secure a job.
She said: "Using the interview techniques I learnt in the graduate employment session, I was able to structure and articulate my answers clearly.
"I think I came across well in the interview, and much more confident than I actually was."
The programme, which will run until September 1st, is part of the Survive & Thrive initiative offered by the institute, which aims to support local businesses and graduates throughout the recession.
