City University London is located in Central London and has more than 100 years experience of teaching and research. Students come from 156 countries around the world and enjoy excellent employment rates. The university has sites throughout London, with the main campus located at Northampton Square with other academic sites nearby.
The university usually accommodates first-years who live outside of London.
City has several libraries, with many dedicated to specialist subjects. Many of the university's classrooms have recently been upgraded with audiovisual equipment, and a student centre opened in 2007.
City's sports centre is called 'Saddlers' and is located near the main campus. Facilities include an indoor sports hall, squash courts, gym, sauna, spa and solarium areas.
There are excellent transport links. Nearest train stations are Angel, Farringdon and Barbican.
In 2008 the Students' Union underwent a £1.5 million refurbishment of its facilities. The new venue is called Ten Squared and provides space to socialise during the night and in the evening the venue makes full use of its sophisticated scene.
Situated in London, City University provides you with great teaching and support. Whilst being based in a hectic cosmopolitan environment, the university still remains to give off a community vibe.
