The University of Glamorgan was formed in 1992 from the Polytechnic of Wales and boasts three modern campuses, two in Treforest and a brand new state-of-the-art facility in Cardiff city centre. Glamorgan is committed to innovation in teaching and learning, and also in preparing students with the skills they will need for their future careers. The university attracts more than 21,000 students across its campuses and is known for its friendly community atmosphere.

Facilities include learning resource centres on all campuses, a state-of-the-art theatre, drama, dance and graphic studios on the new Cardiff campus.
The sports facilities are some of the best in the country and are used by international rugby and football teams for training. Facilities include a gym, climbing wall, aerobic studio, all-weather pitches and a sports hall.
Glamorgan boasts excellent road, bus and train links. The railway station is adjacent to the university, with trains every 15 minutes.
There is always something going on at the Students' Union as well as a brand new student union building being completed in 2010. Off campus there are plenty of places to choose from and Cardiff offers great shops and restaurants.
The University of Glamorgan are currently undergoing a £130 million capital programme which will see the campuses improve greatly. The university are very proud of their reputation as a provider of quality higher education and will remain to support students during there time at the university.
