Located on the border of Coventry and Warwickshire, The University of Warwick is continually rated one of the best universities in the country. Founded in 1965, it has quickly established a reputation for promoting excellence and has become increasingly popular with students. 20% of the student body comes from overseas and over 125 countries are represented on campus.

The university is known for its research center and the Warwick Arts Centre, which is one of the largest art complexes outside of London. Warwick is continually developing new facilites such as Warwick Digital Laboratory, Centre for Analytical Science and the Wolfson Exchange.
Warwick boasts great sporting facilities including extensive playing fields, 25m swimming pool, an athletic track, squash courts, fitness suite and located at the Westwood campus, a new Indoor tennis centre which opened in March 2008.
The University is close to the M1 and M6. The train station is located nearby- it only takes thirty minutes to Birmingham and an hour and a quarter to London.
What’s great about the University of Warwick is that everything is on your doorstep to provide a sense of easy living. The campus has its own shops, laundrettes, hairdressing salon, travel agents, cinema, banks, bars and restaurants which is very handy for any situation. The Students' Union runs entertainment and events each night. Union South is a multi- purpose entertainments venue which can host up to 2,750 people with four different rooms. If you fancy going beyond campus, Birmingham is a great place for amazing nightlife and is not too far away.
