This taught MSc programme is aimed at students who wish to sample a range of exciting topics within the Biomedical Sciences possibly as a precursor to Ph.D. level studies. The programme provides training in the principal areas of current research in the Biomedical Sciences and is focused on experimental science. There are opportunities for specialisation in selected research topics within the broad themes of pharmacology, neuroscience, cardiovascular research, cancer biology, infection and immunity, and cell biology.
The programme includes a series of practical classes, lecture-based teaching sessions and tutorials that prepare you for a 12-week full-time research project on a topic of your choice.
