During your degree it is likely that you will take a year out of your course to take a paid internship for 12 months at an engineering company. This provides you with the chance to put what you’ve learned in your degree into practice, to learn from experienced professionals and work in a real company. If you make a good impression they will even offer a job for when you graduate.
