Funding for Postgraduate Courses

Making sure that you have sufficient funding for postgraduate study in the UK is essential for being able to stay on for further study. By law you must either have:

• a minimum amount of cash in a bank or building society account under your name, or
• have financial sponsorship from a university, government or company stated clearly in a letter from them confirming that they will cover all your fees and living costs

There are several scholarships available for international students undertaking postgraduate study. Competition is fierce and it is important to remember that UK and EU students often qualify before non EU students.
