With so many MBA programmes available it is extremely important that you do your research to find the right school and programme to fit all your study needs.

Personal Commitments
Firstly consider your work/life commitments. Can you take on full-time study? If not, consider an MBA through distance learning or check to see if the course can be studied part-time.

Reputation and Rankings
The reputation of the business school you decide to study at is extremely important. Employers will always take an interest in WHERE your MBA is from. Whilst rankings and reputations of some schools may alter over time, it is important that you check if the programme is accredited – this will be a stronger way to establish a quality-based programme that employers will respect.

Course Structure
Consider how the course structured. Do you want to specialise or gain a more traditional qualification? A good MBA programme will not only cover the core management subjects but also include a range of optional courses.

Industry Contacts
It is always beneficial for a business school to have strong links with local and international companies. Not only will this add to your programme, it also provides you with a great employer hit list once you graduate.

Cost
The cost of an MBA varies with each school. However, it is important to note that cost does NOT automatically guarantee quality. Reputation and accreditation is the key consideration. However, cost will always be a deciding factor. Ask the business schools direct the cost of their MBA before you make any final decisions.
